After several years of experience in the field of body transformations. I can honestly say no two clients approaches have been the same to reaching their goals of improved body composition.
We all have busy lives with family life, work commitments, shift patterns and sometime weeks away travelling. Unfortunately we can't reinvent the wheel when it comes to losing body fat. But we can reframe the way we do it sticking within the scientific principles of fat loss and training.
The principles of weight / fat loss remains the same. You need to take in less energy than you are expending. My job as a coach is to sit down with you and work out the correct strategy that is going to work with you in the long term.
When we think of body changes we always seem to go straight to weight loss. Don't get me wrong sometime looking better just requires weight loss. If you look at some of the before and after picture some of them have lost very little weight or even sometime gained weight to look leaner.
Ask yourself this. Do you want to lose weight on the scale and look more or less the same? Would you prefer to look better?
Consistency is probably the most important factor when considering how to set up a transformation plan. Although there might be times when it feels restrictive and hard we want to keep these to a minimum. One of the biggest myth is if you're not suffering, it's not working.
As long as the principles of fat loss and muscle gain remain the same there are multiple ways to approach a successful transformation.

I have been going to the gym for many years 4-5 days a week, I used to read all sort of books, articles etc so I always felt I had the knowledge to succeed in the results I wanted in then gym. The past year I had got lazy, I was still eating well and training but I hadn't changed my workouts and was getting stuck in a plateau.I went to Dave for the past 8 weeks and it's been brilliant and I was shocked myself at how well we progressed. I can’t recommend Dave enough. He made everything so simple and straightforward I couldn’t believe how quickly (and easily!) I saw results. I’ve been going to the gym for a number of years now, and swapped hours of cardio and HIIT for strength training in 2016. The initial results were great, but they soon plateaued and I was exercising 5-6 times a week and barely seeing any progress. In just eight weeks of working with Dave, I saw more change than I had in about three years! I lost 6% body fat, felt fitter and stronger than ever and went from a size 12 to an 8 (which I hadn’t been since I was about 15!).
Dave set me up with a training programme (four days a week – so I was actually training less than I was previously) and reviewed my diet. I honestly could have cried when he told me the calories I should stick to – but after a making some small changes, I found I could eat just as much if not more than I was before! Dave knew my lifestyle (eating and drinking out a lot), but with a bit of planning and a few swaps, I could easily fit it in without sacrificing the fun stuff. I kept saying that it felt like it was too easy – I’m now kicking myself for not doing it sooner!

Dave Brockway Coaching in London. Is the best way to achieve weight loss in London. Previously to working with Dave the only fruit and veg I knew was tomato ketchup and orange cremes. I imagined weight loss was hours of slogging on a treadmill and surviving on celery sticks. Dave used the easy to follow system. When I wanted to get in the best shape of my life at 42 years of age I thought I knew how to do it. I have a degree in Sport Science and i was formally a professional footballer. What I soon released was that my knowledge was very dated and more importantly, it was how a 27 years old would have got in shape. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be where I’m today, just to go into a normal shop like M&S and get a shirt which was a XL and not a 4XL and a pair of trousers 38” and not 44” this makes me fill good. when I think I was 23 stone drinking 10 - 12 pints of beer per night and now I’m 16st 9 lbs and lucky if I have a bottle of beer. When I started working with Dave Brockway I weighed 118 Kg and couldn't run for a bus.... I wanted to do something about it but knew I needed help.I joined the gym and contacted Dave because he was firstly a professional trainer and secondly a specialist in fat loss. After just 12 Weeks, I never expected to see changes like I have made to my body and was surprised by how the training worked. I have always tried to over complicate it and Dave has shown me it’s actually simple if you’re dedicated and know what you’re doing (which now I do!). I have worked through 5 phases, each session no longer than an hour long, consisting of weight training and basic compound exercises. They are tough but it can be done when you put your mind to it and you always leave the gym feeling so good. It makes it all worth it when you receive comments asking what you have done and you look so different! I have learnt to trust the process and be patient, hard work and knowing you are training correctly pays off.
People have recently said to me ‘wow you pay a lot for your PT’, at the start I did have apprehensions about spending this money but I can honestly say I have never regretted it and has been well worth it.
